Glass Standoffs
Glass standoffs are specialized hardware components used for mounting and securing glass panels in architectural and interior design applications. They are commonly employed in features such as glass railings, balustrades, display systems, partitions, doors, and decorative panels.
A typical standoff consists of two main parts:
A barrel – a threaded sleeve that passes through a pre-drilled hole in the glass.
A cap – a decorative outer piece that screws onto the barrel, securing the glass in place while leaving a visible, often stylish gap between the glass and the mounting surface.
Standoffs are available in various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and brass, and come in multiple finishes (e.g., polished, brushed, matte, or colored) to match design requirements.
